FEATURE FILM Check If I’m Still Breathing

is a simple love story that covers a ten-year relationship. It focuses on three different time periods within those years: a couples meeting at eighteen-years-old; time spent together in their mid-twenties; and finally at thirty, the end of a pained yet vital union. It’s a brutally honest investigation of co-dependency, destructive yet necessary love, and of addiction. It looks at how we fit into the hopes, fears and expectation of those we’re supposed to love; it’s about how we look to the wrong places for happiness, instead of concentrating on what we already possess. It makes the case that those involved in true love are lucky victims.
