company profile

Founded in 2005 by Gabe Turner and Ben Turner, Leo Pearlman and Ben Winston, Fulwell 73 is an independent London based production company, specialising in a mix of commercial and innovative TV and film productions.

The four partners came together bringing experience from the world of television, film, finance and business. Their production credits include Bafta award winning Wife Swap, Teachers, and commercially successful feature film The Guru (Universal Studios), in addition to experience in media start ups and media finance at MGI, Montauk Financial and the PPA Ltd.

After a number of years producing successful brand-driven TV, Fulwell’s first feature film, In the Hands of the Gods, was released in September 2007 to wide critical acclaim. Launched at the Cannes Film Festival 2007, where it was bought by Lionsgate, it opened in the UK with a star-studded Leicester Square premiere. The widest release of all time for a UK documentary, it opened nationwide in over 60 screens. Nike and Myspace became the films brand partners, injecting a significant amount into the marketing budget. The film has since been sold to a number of European, Asian and Middle-Eastern territories, launched on DVD in Jan 08, with its first mainstream terrestrial broadcast later this year.

Currently Fulwell has a number of projects slated for 2008/09. This includes three feature-length film projects, a number of theatrical documentaries and a number of factual entertainment projects for television.
